Un financement CDR- FNRS pour l'étude des symbioses
The proposed research project investigates the “host separation syndrome” that occur when host-specific marine ectocommensals are separated from their hosts and lead quickly to their death. The investigated animal models include the tropical sea urchin Echinometra mathaei and two ectocommensal shrimp species living on its surface. Students that are interested are invited to contact the lab.
